We’ve had a great time here in Abilene with all the celebrations but it’s now time to get back to reality. The “anniversary” day event went off without any problems and the folks seemed to have enjoyed every minute of it…even though they were exhausted when it was all over.
Mom continues to have problems with swelling in her legs and, of course, walking is very difficult. Hopefully, something can be done to help her with the swelling today. Dad continues to do well.
We’re sitting in the Abilene airport waiting for our flight to Dallas…not much happening here…and it looks like we’ll be out on time.Â
