This is my third attempt to post something here. So this will be quick! I keep losing my connections.
We had a great lunch at Harold’s and a fantastic dinner last night at Abuelo’s. These are both great dining places and the food is always great. Those reading this post and know about these spots…Eat your heart out! It was wonderful!
My brother, Lorin, and I have accepted the title of “42 champs” having beaten an unnamed opposing team…left unnamed for safety reasons! We’ll keep our title as long as we’re able but I feel certain it won’t be for very long.
Going to Cross Plains to see Daniel’s parents in a little bit. I don’t think I’ve ever been to Cross Plains and we are all looking forward to the outing.  The Crockett’s have a new home…their old home burnt to the ground when the wild fires went through Texas a couple of years ago…and they are thrilled to be back in their house. They lost everything and I can only imagine how terrible that would be. The stuff would be bad but the memory items would be heart breaking.
Hoping to spend some time with Phyllis tomorrow and again on Sunday. She’s so busy doing her thing…it’s hard to work into her schedule.
