What a fun time we had being with Scott and Allison. The time went by quickly and we’re once again back home doing our usual stuff…I’m doing laundry while George is out in the carriage house putting away his tools, etc.
The work bench George and Scott made is really nice and I know Scott will enjoy having it available to him. He’s not the same guy that use to live with us…he’s now ultra neat and knows exactly where stuff is suppose to be. Maybe all those years of telling him to clean his room really did pay off!
The reunion was fun and I can’t believe how OLD all my classmates have gotten. It was interesting trying to figure out just who everyone really was. Our name tags only had our senior picture on it with no name. Well, we could recognize that person, but some of the names would have to come to us later. Only two guys look like they did in high school…Louie and Allen…the rest of us have changed drastically. We will have our 50th next year so maybe I’ll remember them then. There were only 10 from our class that were able to come so maybe all 24 will be there next time.
Today I will go and pay our taxes on the truck and the van, so it’s another fun time in Wilmore. Of course, our vehicles are getting so old that it’s really not such a big deal to have to pay them anymore.
Thanks again to Scott and Allison for entertaining us and loving us. You guys are special! Scott, hope the finger heals quickly.
Have a great week everyone. Please pray for our friend Bonnie Shake as they have now called in hospice. She, and her family, are wonderful people and have been a great asset to the church and to Abilene. Also, pray for our friend John Weldon who is have a triple bypass today. May God be with you both.
