Champs still alive!

The champs…team player changed from Lorin to George…survived another round.  This was a tough match but we did manage to win by one mark and looking forward to another round tomorrow…that is if the team player will hang in there.

We enjoyed our trip to Cross Plains to visit with the Crockett’s.  Their new home is very pretty and so roomy…especially the Master bedroom.  We went to a restaurant for dinner that featured fried catfish…therefore, I had chicken fried steak.  It was good and everyone waddled out once we were finished eatiing and visiting.  George stopped and took several pictures on our way back to Abilene of the beautiful wild flowers…see pictures on George’s blog.  It’s really pretty here because of all the rain the last several weeks.  Also, we stopped to see JT and Lou for a few minutes and they are doing well…for non-family members, these are some of my cousins.

I’m looking forward to tomorrow and what it might bring…still praying about New Orleans and our opportunity of working there in the very near future.  Not real sure how I feel about it just yet since I haven’t met with the staff and really understand just what my role would be while there.  I have some really precious grandchildren in KY, my BC business, my Wednesday night ladies class, and our small group that keep tugging on my heart strings.

Blessings……..
