Good morning from Burlington!

We had a good trip yesterday and we are thankful to have arrived safe and sound.  The day was really uneventful but it’s still a 500 mile ride from Wilmore.  We enjoyed having Sean with us and getting to visit with him…something we haven’t been able to do for far too long.  He won’t be going back with us as he’s going from here to Chicago to visit with a friend of his.  Thanks Sean for sharing the trip with us!

Clark and Vanessa have a beautiful home and Vanessa is quite the master of decorating so it’s a gorgeous home.  Vanessa has taken up sewing recently and is really enjoying that.  She’s made several pillows…using antique handkerchiefs of which I am now the proud owner of one…window treatments for several rooms, table runner, chair covers, place mats and is planning many more projects in the very near future.  I feel sure she and the staff of JoAnn Fabric will become very close friends!  She converted one of their bedrooms into a sewing room that would be the dream of any women that likes to sew.  I might even sew again if I had somewhere to set it up and leave it out but I don’t so I won’t!

I’m not sure what we will be doing today but whatever it is will be OK with me.  The guys are going to go fishing sometime while we’re here,  Lacey will be working or riding her new motorcycle, and Vanessa and I will do whatever we are moved to do eventually.  It’s a beautiful morning here today but cooler than Kentucky…scattered showers are being predicted for later today and I don’t think rain is really needed for this area right now.

Have a great day and I’ll be back soon.

Blessings……….
