What an unusual July we have had. First it’s one of the coolest, temperature wise, on record with the average high of only 80 degrees. Now whenever have we not used the AC for the entire month of July? I do love having the house open and the LOW electric bills. We have had a busy month with some of the grandkids here a lot of the time…still more to come if we can work it out…and that’s been a lot of fun. I’ll be the first to admit, that it was a lot easier as a young women but we survived quite well and would gladly do it all again. God has truly blessed us with great grandchildren.
Patsy, we’re sorry about the loss of your father but we are so glad he’s out of his misery and finally at peace. I can’t even imagine what your mother is feeling since he’s gone…a big hole must be there after 74 years of marriage. Loneliness will surely be a big factor for her in the months to come. We have plans to be at the visitation tomorrow (Saturday) and I am praying for you as you will be dealing with all the family issues while you’re there.
Today is “hair cut” day so guess I’d better get off of here. Have a great weekend…stay dry, if possible…and know that God is good and loves us all.
Blessings……
