Our special time with Tyler is over and he was a joy to have around. We got him on Monday morning and delivered him back to Melissa at 5 p.m. this afternoon…the time went by far to fast and he was not ready to go home. Hopefully we’ll have him again before to many months. Because of all the heavy rain we had while he was here, we never got to go fishing and that was something he really wanted to do…that will be on the to-do list for his next visit. He did build himself a very nice bird feeder and he felt good about his creation. We managed to go swimming one evening and he thought that was lots of fun.  Of course, he played with his cousins and even spent one night with them. We had Blake, Grayson, and Tyler here on Monday night, he was there on Tuesday, and then we had Tyler all to ourselves on Wednesday since all the Crockett kids had sleep over plans already booked. School starts in just a few more days and he’s “sort of” looking forward to getting back there. He’s a good student and still loves to visit with all that will stop long enough to talk…gets that from his mother! I love you Tyler and thanks for coming to see Mimi and Papa and we’ll do it again when we can. Ryan is next!
Speaking of Ryan…he is officially registered into high school. That’s hard to accept that Melissa has a child in high school, Tanya now has one in middle school, and Carter and Clark have all their kids in college. Wow…that’s making all of us OLD!
Guess I’ll get back to my knitting as I haven’t done much on my sweater this week. Oh well, it’s not sweater time yet and I’ll definitely get it done before it gets cold.
