August is finished and September is coming in with truly fall temperatures This morning we got up to temperature in the 50’s and here it is only 63 at noon. This has been the perfect weather for a summer in the northeast and nothing like the ones we usually have in central Kentucky…and I’m thankful. Makes you wonder just what our winter is going to be like?
This morning Grayson…Tanya’s youngest…had his tonsils removed. He’s doing well and will be back home in a couple more hours. The doctor saved the tonsils for him in a tube and boy were they LARGE! No wonder they had to come out!  He’ll be out of commission most of this week and then he’ll be able to get back to normal. He’s quite the boy and loves baseball…actually any sport…more than the average boy. Feel better soon, Grayson!
Friday we’ll get to celebrate Meredith’s 11th birthday. She’s gotten a couple of her gifts already…a new rabbit along with a hutch made by her Papa…it’s really cute and the hutch is perfect! She loves animals and is very good with them and willingly takes care of all their needs. She’s growing up really fast!
Not much happening…just wanted to brag on these near perfect days. Please pray for Grayson and the people in California that are having to watch their homes burn in the brush fires. That would be a terrible experience. My sweater is coming along nicely and I’m almost to the point of being halfway finished with it…going to be a nice addition to my fall/winter OLD clothes…and I made it!
Have a good week. Tanya just called and they are headed for home…almost a drive through surgery. His surgery was around 10:15 a.m. and he leaves there at 12:15 p.m.  Grayson has thrown up a couple of times so it will not be a fun afternoon for him. Maybe the milkshake from Sonic will help!…along with the drugs. Hang in there, Grayson!
