Today looks as though it will be another hot/humid day. If fact, when we got up at 5:45 a.m. it was already 77 degrees. That may have been the low for last night for all I know. Regardless, that’s an indicator of things to come!
George did a good job speaking at the morning devotional and everyone, well almost everyone, seemed to be listening. He really has been blessed with the gift of public speaking.
Going to clean out the walk in refrigerator today…at least we’ll be cool for the first time all week. There appears to be “things” growing in there! Wonder when was the last time it was cleaned out? Like…NEVER! After that job is completed, we will check on what’s in the freezers and then back to the stock room. It appears that as soon as we get an area cleaned, someone decides to drop their junk there and the cycle starts over. That will end should we decide or be accepted to do this work for six months. There has to be respect for what everyone does for the sucess of the team or else this work will eventually fail. I guess the kids will end up calling me “Arnold Mae”! Those in the family will understand this name! George gave it to me years ago and it wasn’t necessarily meant to be a compliment…however, I take it to be one!
Vanessa continues to improve…although I’ve yet to talk with her when I’ve called. Maybe today I can connect with her. Lacey is being a good nurse and she said her mom is doing well and progressing right along.
