Hip, hip, hooray!!! We have finished painting the guest bedroom and we’re still speaking to each other!  We painted it a pretty blue…it was a medium brown…in my opinion, it looks so pretty and CLEAN. Now to get a new bedspread or comforter to complete the job. I want to paint all our rooms but I’m going to recover from this one before I tackle another one. Painting isn’t exactly my most favorite thing to do, but I sure like the end results.
Thanksgiving is going to be here soon and we are doing something entirely different than we’ve done the last 35 years. We are going to go to Alabama and spend that day with George’s family. We’re looking forward to being with them and catching up with what’s going on in their lives. Tanya and her family will be in Cincinnati, Scott and Clark are unable to come, and Melissa and her family were doubtful they would come because Tyler will be recovering from having his tonsils out on the 18th. Since Carter and Lori live in Birmingham it will make it a lot easier on them to just come to Rogersville. I will miss having Thanksgiving here but it will also be nice to just make a couple of dishes to add to the mix and not do the major part of the mix.
I need to go get the paint off my arms, legs, hands, nails, and whatever else got in the way while painting the walls and trim. Enjoy your evening!
