Today the sun is shining brightly and the air is quite crisp so…It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood. Tyler continues to improve but he still has his moments of being in a lot of pain and it’s never when it’s close to time for more pain medicine. He slept well last night, per Melissa, and is still asleep this morning. He’s been a real trouper through all of this and tries hard to keep his good attitude about being down and out. He’s a sweet boy and he can’t wait to be back to just being Tyler. He really is quite accomplished on the piano and guitar…hope he’ll keep this interest as it will bring him much pleasure the rest of his life.
George and I will head for home this evening and hope we have been helpful duirng this time. We have at least help get some of the kids to the different things they need to get to which helps keep Melissa on track with Tyler. Everyone is involved in something and this keeps them all on the go all the time. On Wednesday of next week, we will head for Alabama and we’re looking forward to seeing some of the few remaining family members George has. It will sure be a different Thanksgiving than what we’ve had for the last 35 years, but different is good some times.
Have a great day and hopefully it will be a good one for you. The weeks are flying by and I really should get started on some Christmas shopping…at least think of what to buy the different ones…but, oh well, I stll have a couple of weeks so what’s the rush?
Blessings………
