I just got home from taking dinner and spending a little time with Vanessa. She really is doing well and should be doing even better in a few more days. Sean was home…I didn’t know he was back in town so that was a pleasant surprise…but he will be leaving in the morning for North Carolina.  He’ll be there a couple of weeks and then returns to Louisville, I think. He’s in special training so I hope they are NOT getting him ready for Iraq! Every parent and grandparent thinks this way I’m sure.
Vanessa and the three kids sat down and ate as soon as I got there and lapped it up. I had taken them chicken and rice, green beans, jello salad, and corn bread…no dessert…but I saw some pie in the refrigerator so they won’t go without. They will have someone looking at the house at 6:30 p.m. and they didn’t want to have a mess to get cleaned up at the last minute…it was only 3 p.m. so they had plenty of clean up time! I think they were just hungry. It did look good and they all ate well.
We’re going to dinner with some friends and then to Tyler’s ball game. That age is fun to watch and they really do improve throughout the year. Each league gets better…my favorite are the little t-ball players. They are so cute and try so hard. Grayson’s t-ball team won their leagues championship …he got a trophy and was thrilled to be on the championship team. ..GO GRAYSON!!!
We’ll be in Wilmore tomorrow to watch Meredith do her horseback riding lesson and to swim in her swim meet. She’s a good swimmer and won several events last week…it helps to have long arms and legs when you’re a swimmer. Blake and Jerod are also ball players so Tanya and Daniel stay busy keeping everyone where they are suppose to be on time.
Have a great evening everyone.
Blessings….
