We left home this morning and George drove us as far as Valdosta, GA and that was a little over 600 miles, and 11 + hours in the van, so we were glad to call it a day…we have a little over 300 to drive tomorrow. The day was good with only a few delays due to construction and the large amount of traffic. It’s in the 50’s so we feel like it’s warm compared to what we’ve been having at home.
Daddy, we’re still praying for you and for your complete recovery. We’ll be anxious to here all the reports you’ll get in the next week or so. Do rest and take care of yourself…mother you do the same.
I’ll be back tomorrow. Melissa and her crew made it to Naples this afternoon and they were glad to have gotten there safe and sound. Naples is about 100 miles further south of Venice so we hope to connect with them one day this next week and see the Everglades or something that would be of interest and fun.
