We have been very busy since we got home from New Orleans and this week will also be a busy one. We are getting to enjoy the company of Jerod, Tanya’s oldest child, until Wednesday. He and his Papa have gone fishing this morning, we’ll be going to the zoo and the new Water Splash on Tuesday morning, and then we hope to take in a movie on Wednesday morning before he heads home. He’s a very sweet boy and a pleasure to have around…never any trouble at all…very accomodating.Â
On either Thursday or Friday morning I will be taking Madi to the zoo and the Water Splash since she was rather short-changed on the “Girls Days” last week. Melissa and I were suppose to have some “girl” time before we went to get the boys at camp but it just didn’t turn out that way and it made her very sad. Therefore, her Mimi will see that she gets some “girl” time and do something fun.
We all enjoyed celebrating Father’s Day yesterday and being together. We missed Scott and Carter…they live too far away…they both called their dad and had a short visit. George has been a good father…made lots of mistakes but never intintially…and all the kids and grandkids have a lot of respect and love for him. At least they appear to have!
The treadmill is calling so I best jump on it or it will NOT get done. Stay cool and enjoy this day as another gift from God.
Blessings…..
