Today is a special day for the Arnett family…Jim, Sr. is having another birthday and he’s hoping for a really special day. I know Linda will do everything she’s able to do to make it special and will also have a great meal for him. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIM! We wish you many more.
We’re having another beautiful day today after a really gloomy, rainy day yesterday. The gloom didn’t keep us inside so it wasn’t a wasted day. The sun is shining bright today with a slight breeze, which is the norm, and sure a lot better than what we had for the better part of our stay here…we have 13 days left! So sunshine come on and keep on shining!!!
George was ask to teach our bible class this morning…they are studying sanctification…and he did his usual good job. The preacher normally teaches this class but is out of town and one of the elders insisted George return to teach again next week. ..hope that’s OK with the preacher since he’ll be home by then. The people at Central are always so kind and generous to us and they seem to really appreciate the challenging thoughts George always gives them. Oh well, he can say what he wants as we’ll be out of town before they have much time to react. We’re blessed to have found them several years ago and to worship with them each week. They’re in transition currently so there’s several new faces and some are no longer there but God is being praised and that’s what matters.
