Mimi needs to brag a little….

We got word today that Jerod’s Academic Team won first place in the state of Kentucky at the Knowledge Master Open (KMO) and placed 12th over all…there were five teams representing Kentucky and 283 both nationally and internationally in the competition so coming in 12th was quite an accomplishment.  Congratulations Jerod and to all your team members.  Excellent job!!!!!

Last week-end Kyle was in a district wrestling match and came in third in his weight class.  He’ll be wrestling in the regional events this coming weekend and we wish him well.  This is his first year to wrestle so we feel he’s doing very well since he’s had to learn all the moves, etc. and has been fairly successful.  Hang in there Kyle…remain focused and tough!!!

Of course, all the grandchildren are special and they all have accomplished many things which I will pass on when I know about them.  Being a grandma is so fun and I love watching the kids learn and excel in so many different areas.

Guess that’s it for now…

Blessings……….
