It’s hard to think that our time here in Florida is coming to a very rapid end and we’re headed home to snow and ICE. Even though the weather started out really unusual for here…cold with frost that killed a lot of plants, etc…, it has ended on a high note for us…mid 70’s is always good! We are thankful for the five weeks we have enjoyed and we’re moving towards a even greater enjoyment in just a few weeks…the arrival of the TWINS. Turner and Neyland will be a blessing to all of us…and a very precious gift from God…but I know they will also keep Scott and Allison on the go for many years.
We’re going to the beach again today and I’m looking forward to that. We usually only stay a couple of hours but that’s a good “fix” and will last me for a while. Today and tomorrow are suppose to be beautiful with lots of sunshine and warm air. Saturday will be rainy, at least part of the day, so that’s a good day for gathering our stuff, packing the van, and taking in the sights of downtown old Venice one last time.
Clark will be leaving Italy around midnight tonight…that’s Friday morning for Italy…and I pray he will have safe travels. His challenge will be when he gets to the last airport and he’ll have a 90 minute drive to his home…with lots of snow and ice on the roads. Be careful, Clark, and I know you’ll be glad to see Vanessa and Lacey when you get there. He’s taken some really neat pictures and he needs to frame some for his office so he’ll have the memory of this trip always before him. Love ya!
No more news so guess I’ll get myself ready for our daily walk. I enjoy walking while here but know I’ll slack off when we get back to the cold days at home. Oh well, spring is coming and I’ll get myself back in gear then…maybe!
Blessings……
