What a wonderful day…

Today we got to greet, hold, and smooch on our newest grandsons…Turner and Neyland.  They are so good looking and the consensus is … they look like their dad and they definitely look like each other.  Only difference is Neyland is a TINY baby…4 lb 1 oz and 16 3/4 inches long and Turner is big 6 lb 1 oz and 18 inches long.  Allison and Scott are delighted and she’s seems to be doing very well from having a C-section.  God has blessed us all so much and for that we are eternally thankful.

Also my dad had successful cauterization on his heart Friday night, two more stints inserted, and all blockage is gone in every artery.  He’ll be going home tomorrow around noon and the doctor said he could continue to do what he had been doing before he had his  “spell”.  Another blessing!

Today … Tyler wrestled in the elementary regional tournament and he pinned his first man in about 10 seconds, lost his second match on points, and won his third match on points.  He came in third over all and will be going to the state tournaments next weekend.  This is quite an accomplishment since this is his first year of wrestling.  Congratulations Tyler.

Friday night Ryan wrestled in his regional tournament and he came in 5th in his weight class and is an alternate to go to the state tournament.  He’s done well and we’re proud of him and will cheer him on should he get “the call” to go to state.  Congratulations Ryan.

Today…Jerod was in another academic tournament…6th, 7th, and 8th graders… and he did very well again.  He was tested in language arts and came in 5th over all, he came in first in quick recall,  placed first in over all wins, and he’ll be going to his state tournament in three weeks.  Way to go Jerod!  I couldn’t be more proud of you.

Also I learned that Lacey has passed all requirements , her final test, and is now an official EMT.  Her next step is to become a paramedic and I’m sure she’ll accomplish that as well.  Congratulations Lacey!

Not sure what all the other grand-kids accomplished today but I know it was good whatever it was.

It’s been a long day and I’m tired so guess I’ll head to bed.  I have another busy day tomorrow…loving, rocking, and smooching!  Oh the life of a grandma.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!  Hope you got something chocolate!

Blessings……
