Tomorrow…

Tomorrow Allison and Turner will be coming home from the hospital but Neyland will have to stay a few days longer.  Both of the boys are doing well, but Neyland just needs to get a little more weight on his bones before he can come home.  Yesterday, Neyland had trouble feeding…rather sleep than eat…so a feeding tube was inserted…not sure they had to use it more than just the one time.  Today I helped feed him at his 2 o’clock feeding and he wasn’t really interested but we, Scott and I, managed to get 31 ml down him in the required time (30 minutes).  I fed him again at his 5 o’clock feeding and he ate 40 ml in 13 minutes and at his 8 p.m. feeding Scott said he ate 37 ml in 23 minutes…he has to have at least 30 ml or else the feeding tube is used.  We feel confident he may have turned the corner and will continue to eat well at each feeding.  Other than that, they are both perfectly healthy boys.  Allison is going to be nursing them but Neyland can’t be nursed currently because they have to measure all his intake.

It snowed here last night and off and on throughout the day but there really wasn’t any accumulations.  We hear that Louisville and Wilmore both received quite a bit of snow and school was cancelled today and again tomorrow.  We may not have the snow but we sure have the bitter cold here in Memphis!  O,  spring will be so wonderful and I can’t wait for it to get here!!!

My dad continues to improve and is making good progress towards a complete recovery.  He’s anxious to get back on the golf course but with the cold they are having there, he wouldn’t be playing golf now anyway. Continue to get better Dad!

Have a great week and I’ll be back when I have time and anything of interest to write about.

Blessings……
