Neyland came home yesterday and that was a great time of rejoicing. In order for him to be released yesterday, he had to gain at least 15 grams and he put his all into it and gained 24 grams! Now the family is complete and the party has begun. Both boys did excellent yesterday and we can only hope for every day to go as smoothly. Of course, all of us that have raised children know, every day is not a sunshiny day. So…GOOD LUCK Scott and Allison!
It has finally returned to “normal” temperatures around here and for that we are very thankful. In fact, today is suppose to be a few degrees above normal so spring will be here soon. YEAH!!! At lease we can hope for spring.
Ryan got to attend the state tournament with his team as an alternate, but unfortunately for him, all the guys made weight so he just gets to observe…great experience for a high school freshman regardless. Tyler will be wrestling in his state tournament this weekend and we’re so proud of both of them. Wrestling is a hard sport and one you have to give your all to if you ever plan to shine. Good luck, Tyler!!!
As far as I know, all the other family members are doing well and everyone is so ready to get rid of all traces of snow and cold. Dad continues to do well and he and mother are amazing but having to make some difficult decisions currently. It’ll be hard going to an assisted living facility, but at their age it really is the best situation for them. Downsizing is hard, but it’s also very freeing and I know they will do well once all the decisions are made.
Have a great weekend!
Blessings……….
