Today it’s cool but sunny, the babies continue to be adorable, George is fishing at the neighborhood lake, and Allison had a decent night taking care of the twins alone…she was to wake me but chose not to do so. Scott is out of town until Thursday and Allison proved to herself that she could do this by herself…at least for last night. We can only hope, and pray, that every night will go as it did last night, or even better…like, they sleep all night long! Turner and Neyland are really cute and filling out very well. Of course, Neyland is still a tiny one, but he is getting chubby cheeks and a double chin…cute, cute, cute. We adults could only hope our chubby cheeks…regardless of where they may be located… and double chin would be so cute. Turner is still the spitting image of what Scott looked like at that age so you know I think he’s a cutey!
George and I will be packing up tomorrow and will head to Texas on Friday morning. We finally decided to go visit the folks now…not in April as we usually do…since we were already seven hours closer to them. We will finally return home on Thursday, or Friday, of the next week. We have only spent 12 days at home since December 26, 2009 and we are ready to get back to whatever our normal consist of.  We do look forward to seeing Mom and Dad, and it’s been wonderful enjoying the first few weeks of Turner and Neyland’s lives, but all good things must eventually end.
George and I purchased a rental house back in November and we are in the process of refurbishing it so that’s another reason we need to go home. George has totally gutted it, I’ve stripped all the many layers of wallpaper off the kitchen walls, a section of the back roof has been repaired, all flooring removed and discarded…nasty, nasty floors…, drains unstopped, garbage removed, along with yard waste taken to the dump. We have George’s cousin, Jerry Page, coming to Wilmore…a few days after we get home…to help redo some of the electrical work…he’s an electrician and we know he will do a good job and we will be getting our money’s worth. Once all that is done, hopefully we can start doing some of the cosmetic work and we will see the results that are being made. We are still debating as to selling it, or renting it, since we live in a town with lots of students. Guess that will be determined once it’s completed. We think it will be a real cute place with lots of charm and personality. Pictures will be posted…by George, I’m sure…once we get to that point.
No more news. All continues to go well with all of us and for that we are very thankful. Have a good day and hope the sun is shining wherever you are.
Blessings……..
