What a beautiful weekend we enjoyed! The nights were almost cold but the days were absolutely spectacular and spring has truly sprung! I love central Kentucky in the spring with all the flowering trees and flowers in the beds. The horse farms around here are breath taking!!!
The Crockett boys have started their baseball season and this will keep all of them very busy for the next several months. Daniel is helping coach Grayson and Blake’s team so that adds to his business. Jerod is on another team so that keeps all of them at the ballpark for a long time some days…just ask Meredith! Tanya is staying really on the go with her nursing and keeping up with every one’s schedule. Meredith is getting ready for her dance recital next month. Busy, busy, busy.
The Gabehart’s got to enjoy a couple of days of camping to end their spring break and I know that was fun for all of them. Now the kids are all back in school to finish up these next few weeks to complete this school year, Byron is back working hard at UPS, and Melissa is working hard at home and at being a successful realtor. Kyle and Tyler are also playing baseball so there is no down time for any of them either. Madi is still taking ice skating lessons and loving it, and Ryan is busy with school, ROTC, and staying out of trouble…teen years are hard!!!
Clark is VERY busy at his work and Vanessa has been on a cruise with her Mom, sister, and niece…she comes home next week, I think. She will have been gone three weeks by the time she gets home and I hope the break has been a fun one for her…the warmer weather helps her with some of her health issues. Lacey is still in school, working, and skating every weekend…she’s a “trick” skater and is quite good. Branden is working as a landscaper on one of the golf courses in Louisville and said he’s enjoying this. Sean is staying busy with his duties in the army.
Scott had a chance to fish the neighborhood lake on Saturday and he text his dad a picture, or two, of some of the BIG bass he caught. That’s a fun lake to fish as the ones you catch are big. Allison sent me a text the other day and the boys are growing so fast. Turner is now 9 lbs. 4 oz. and is 21 1/2 inches in length…started at 6 lb. 1 oz. and 19 inches, if I remember correctly. Neyland is now 8 lbs. 10 oz. and 20 1/2 inches in length…started at 4 lb. 1 oz. and 18 inches long. They are doing so well and are really cute. Allison will be going back to work next month so I know she’s enjoying every minute of this time at home with her boys!
Carter and Lori stay busy with their jobs and they have been painting their entire upstairs at their home which has kept them busy. We haven’t heard much about the boys but I know Chase has applied for a job with the police department in Danville…not far from us…but don’t know if he got the job. Also, Chance is finishing up his sophomore year at Western Kentucky University before he’ll return to Franklin for the summer.
George and I continue to plug away at the “blue” house and we’re still trying to get it completed by June. This has been a tremendously big job but worth the effort, I hope. I will be glad when we can see one room completed and we’re almost there…one of the bathrooms should be completed this week! That’s a big YEAH!!!
Guess I need to get myself busy and over to the “blue” house…got some errands to run first. Have a great week everyone. Patsy…glad you’re home and hope you’re doing well with the NEW knee. Linda…I pray your back is finally almost healed and you’re at last free of pain. Have a great week everyone!!!
Blessing……
