George and I continue to plug away at the “blue house” and there’s still so much to complete. I painted one of the bedrooms yesterday and will complete it next week…needs the trim painted on the ceiling and the second coat of paint on the walls. After that room is FINALLY done, I hope I will be able to work in the dining room. That will be a major project since we’re having to put a new ceiling in and George is also working in the second bathroom. There’s so much to do that it’s hard to know where to put your efforts on some days. Oh well, it will get done eventually and it will be nice!
We will be going to Louisville this afternoon…George and Byron are going to attend Kyle’s baseball banquet while Melissa and I attend Ryan’s ROTC event…both are at the exact same time and Melissa had already bought tickets to the banquet that were nonrefundable, so George will benefit with that. We’re always up for a free meal…unfortunately with my Celiac I don’t get to participate often.
Tomorrow is George’s birthday and I have a little something planned for him but can’t write about it just yet since it’s a surprise. Therefore, I’m wishing him a very Happy Birthday one day early…won’t be on here again until Saturday night, or later. May this next year be another good one for you, George, with good health, happiness, and joy. I might also add…AND with the completion of the “blue house”! I love you!
Guess I’d better get busy so we can leave on time. We’ll also get to check on Patty while in Louisville. She seems to be doing well and healing appropriately. It’s been a hard struggle, but she’s a fighter and not giving up. Again…Happy Birthday George!
Blessings……
